Ruidoso Art Festival

First held in 1971 as an outdoor tent show, the Festival has evolved into an annual event which attracts thousands of art enthusiasts. The Festival also features a Silent Auction to benefit the Chamber's Special Project Fund which funds philanthropic endeavors in local communities.

This multi-room tour of fabulous shapes and colors hammered and woven into a myriad of forms will feature artists from around the nation specializing in every major category. Each booth is a microcosm of a larger artistic world, each with its unique visions and artifacts. New this year will be wine tasting of New Mexico wines and gourmet food vendors.

The Ruidoso Valley continues to re-establish itself as a premier art destination, said Michael Cerletti, Secretary of the New Mexico Tourism Department. "'The fine Art Festival is a significant visual experience, and we encourage all New Mexicans and their visitors to take part in this special event."
